Campbell Classical Christian Homeschool Hive

EQUIP 2:22

“In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit” Eph 2:22

our Environment

Your family is coming to a safe environment where God is honored, learning is rich, friendship is sincere, and the individual can be strengthened. You can find out the specific details of what kind of environment we are nurturing by looking at the various agreements written within our Equip 2:22 Homeschool Hive agreements below. The heart of these agreements is simple: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:37-40)

Location: Campbell, CA

our classes

We are leaning in hard after God, and are focused on teaching the children how to hear, love, and respond to the Holy Spirit! We have carefully curated our specific courses based on the current roster of children. Using Claritas (which is both classical & Christian) as our “spine”, you can expect an immersive learning experience through Story of the World projects, Hands-On Science that matches the Claritas subjects, Logic of English, Institute for Excellence in Writing, Kids in Ministry International, Financial Peace University for kids, and even public speaking. The preschoolers look forward to storytime, circle time, crafts, and plenty of playtime, too. The babies are welcome to stay with Mom or Dad, and can be easily in arms. Afterall, what is homeschool without babies?

Mission

Mission & Vision

The main goal of education is to raise children who love Jesus and meet the high calling that God places on their lives. This community of families is called to equip children of the next generation of leaders and servants to be confident, sure of their identity in Christ, and citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. This homeschool cooperative is built to teach children by the the classical model of education and to encourage and equip parents. We value and develop deep community with true friendships.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

God has given a mandate to parents of this generation to raise up the Shadrach, Mechachs and Abednegos who need to be able to stand in the ‘fire’ of today’s culture, uncompromising. They need the Holy Spirit to live in this unnatural, supernatural, above-natural existence where love flows like a river in the face of adversity. Like Moses who delivered an entire nation out of captivity, this generation needs to stand above a wicked modern ‘philosophy’ and pave a way for “The Remnant”. God has always preserved a remnant, and He has told me numerous times He has set a plumb-line and is looking North, South, East, and West, for the pure in heart. We raise our hands to God and say “pick us” just like Isaiah did. – Robyn Cooper

Locations and Meetups

We meet in Campbell. But we will also adventure into nature and on field trips together, we have family fellowship and worship opportunities, have Ladies’ Nights / Mornings Out, Fellas’ Nights Out, book clubs, Family Camp, and much more, as you wish. We wish to ‘do life together’ with you!

Leadership Organization

Danielle Colantro & Robyn Cooper co-founded Equip 2:22.

Robyn, Danielle and Dedra work in unison to keep the over all DNA of Equip 2:22 flowing with God’s plans.

Danielle and Dedra Card are local leadership for California.

Robyn Cooper is local leadership for Georgia, alongside her husband Ian.

We are asking the Lord for other moms, dads, and families with the same passion for God’s vision to link arms with.
Fellowship & Playtime

Bring your lunch to Homeschool Hive days. We want to ‘break bread’ together on a regular basis. We want the kids to have plenty of playtime too!

Academic Standards

In Equip 2:22, no student gets left behind. As a homeschooler, you’re not alone. Moreover, this is an excellent path!

  • ~3.7 million homeschool students in 2020-2021 in the USA
  • 15-30% above public-school students on standardized tests.
  • 87% of peer-reviewed studies on social, emotional, and psychological development show homeschool students perform statistically significantly better than those in conventional schools

But you don’t have to take our word for it! Read more here.

Extracurricular Activities

Family camp, book clubs, playdates, clubs, Ladies or Fella’s nights/mornings, feast nights, family fellowship and worship opportunities… this is about more than “just homeschool”!

Technology In the Classroom

We encourage parents to avoid using tech (phones, etc.) which is unrelated to the content of leading/supporting a class. We fully ENCOURAGE taking pictures for yearbook. Some children may need to use technology to assist them, and that is just fine! Let’s get their needs met.

“A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another” (John 13:34–35)
